EUA echa atrás derecho al aborto; políticos condenan el 'retroceso de 50 años'
Demócratas como el expresidente Barack Obama o la presidenta de la Cámara de Representantes, Nancy Pelosi, rechazaron la decisión de la Corte Suprema.

La Corte Suprema de Estados Unidos echó abajo el fallo Roe vs. Wade con el que pone fin a la histórica sentencia que garantizaba desde hace 50 años el derecho al aborto en todo el país. Lo que ha provocado la reacción de la clase política norteamericana y la comunidad internacional.
El fallo redactado por el juez Samuel Alito proponía anular el caso de 1973 de Roe vs. Wade y establecía devolver a los representantes la regulación: "La Constitución no confiere el derecho al aborto; Roe y Casey son anulados; y la autoridad para regular el aborto se devuelve al pueblo y a sus representantes electos".
La postura logró una votación de 5 a favor y 4 en contra del proyecto.

Barack Obama sostuvo que la Suprema Corte puso por delante del interés de los estadounidenses sus “caprichos ideológicos”, lo que significa un ataque a las libertades.

Nancy Polosi, dijo que los republicanos que controlan la Corte Suprema, lograron arrebatar el derecho a las mujeres de tomar sus propias decisiones, criminalizando la libertad de la salud.
