Video: así fue el sismo de 5.9 en Afganistán que dejó miles de muertos
El Gobierno de México expresó sus condolencias por las víctimas de este sismo que dejó hasta el momento 1,030 muertos.

Un sismo de 5.9 grados se registró la noche del miércoles en Afganistán, dejando hasta el momento una cifra de más de mil muertos, y cientos de personas heridas. En redes sociales circulan imágenes de la destrucción que dejó el siniestro.
El Servicio Geológico de Estados Unidos (USGS) informó que el epicentro tuvo lugar a unos 46 kilómetros de la capital Khost por la noche del miércoles. Al movimiento le siguió una réplica de 4.5 grados.
Reportes señalan que el mayor número de víctimas se produjo en Paktika, en cuyos distritos de Gayan y Barmal hay más de mil muertos y más de 1,500 heridos. Aunque se espera que la cifra aumente tras el inicio de las labores de rescate.
Por su parte, el Gobierno de México, a través de la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores (SRE) expresó sus condolencias por las víctimas de este sismo: “extiende sus más sinceras condolencias y solidaridad al pueblo de Afganistán por las víctimas humanas y las pérdidas irreparables que dejó el sismo de este día”.
